Sweet Platter

One of things I remember from cooking class back when I was at school was that food presentation needed three things: height, texture and colour. Fresh fruits and vegetables offer all three which could explain why they make platters look so appealing. Not only do these platters deliver on presentation the range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre mean they also deliver on health. Who ever said healthy eating is boring, clearly never experienced the joy of a delicious and fresh platter.

The platter pictured includes:

  • ½ pineapple
  • ½ rockmelon
  • 1 bunch green grapes
  • 1 orange
  • 1 Pink Lady apple
  • 1 punnet raspberries
  • 1 punnet strawberries
  • 1 punnet blueberries
  • 1kg watermelon
  • 1 packet Jenny Craig Shortbread bites
  • 4 Jenny Craig Salted Caramel Nut Bars

Don’t be afraid to experiment and add whatever seasonal fruits you like! Other great summer fruits include:

  • Mango
  • Cherries
  • Blackberries
  • Peaches
  • Nectarines
  • Honeydew
